Moreover, they are trained to provide services such as counseling/therapy, mental health diagnosis, and social services. Understanding the demographics, training background, professional characteristics and geographic distribution of this workforce is important for understanding the factors which may impact access to behavioral health services in Indiana. This report provides a summary of the reported characteristics from BHHS professionals who renewed their license in 2022.
