Even though open access materials are free for all, library users still request them through interlibrary loan. Based on data gathered using ILLiad custom searching, I found a substantial growth in ILL requests filled thanks to open access documents. I will present this data and discuss how IUPUI University Library tracks requests for open access material and notifies patrons of its availability. Commonly used open access resources and search strategies will also be demonstrated.en
